PS2 Method
Welcome to SOCOM HQ's PS2 guide for access to 1UP & SOCOM Community's SOCOM II public server
*Below you will find all items needed to start the process of accessing ONLINE servers.*
PS2/Controller/Disc
- You will need a PS2 system along with a compatible controller. Also needed is a 'SOCOM II' disc.
Free Mcboot Memory Card
- This card is how you access the patch files needed for online gameplay.
- We recommend using any major retail site to purchase one of these cards.
Flash Drive
Flash Drive of any kind.*
- This will be used to download patch files. Later these files will be accessed on your PS2, using the Free Mcboot Memory Card.
